The Atlantic Agricultural Leadership Program’s board of directors has been working very hard for the last six months to re-establish the program in the region. AALP began in 1994 in New Brunswick but became an Atlantic entity in 2004.

The program was created to help develop emerging agriculture leaders to confidently shape the future of the Atlantic and Canadian rural and agricultural sectors. To date 125 leaders have graduated from the program in the region.

AALP is a not-for-profit organization funded through tuition, corporate and government partners and fundraising events.
