Doug Ettinger takes helm as Scotsburn Dairy CEO

[Scotsburn, NS]– Scotsburn Dairy has a new man in charge.

Former president and CEO of Ganong Bros. Ltd., Doug Ettinger will be replacing Mel MacConnell as the president and chief executive officer at Scotsburn Dairy (Scotsburn, Nova Scotia). MacConnell announced his retirement at the company’s annual general meeting in December. He had served in the role of president and CEO for the last nine years of his 46-year career at Scotsburn.

Ettinger had worked as president and CEO at Ganong since 2008. He has been in the food industry for the past 25 years including stints with Coca-Cola, Nestle, Saputo and Parmalat.

Ettinger is a graduate of Dalhousie University where he earned his MBA with a major in marketing.
