Peter Parsons, a Project Coordinator at the Northeast Avalon Regional Economic Development Board (NEA REDB) in St. John's, Newfoundland & Labrador recently summarized primary and secondary research into a "Best Practices Manual for Labour-Sharing in Agriculture".

The manual addresses labour shortages in the agriculture industry, and illustrates how labour-sharing has been an effective and sustainable option for farming in different contexts throughout the world. Some of the research focuses on the CUMO cooperative model used in Quebec.
