Out of a tree

It took more than four hours to get a calf out of the tree in Cumbria.

According to the Flying Cow, Sparkle recently fell off an embankment. The calf travelled 100 feet before getting stuck in a tree.

Sheathed in body armour, firefighters and at least one veterinarian freed the calf.

Sparkle was ”’relatively unscathed’” and ”’reasonably happy.’”
