Geoffrey Larkin of Middle Musquodoboit, Nova Scotia will receive a $2,000 Under Graduate Scholarship from the Keith Gilmore Foundation.

Topics :
Keith Gilmore Foundation , Canadian Hereford Digest

The Foundation was established in 1987 to provide scholarships to worthy applicants in the fields of agriculture, veterinary medicine, and agriculture journalism.

It is named in honour of the late Keith Gilmore, better known as “Mr. Hereford”, who was the editor and publisher of the Canadian Hereford Digest for over 30 years.

Up to ten scholarships are available and are awarded each year in August and profiles of current and past scholarship winners are available at the Foundation website: www.keithgilmorefoundation.com

The scholarship has always been financed by donated funds and an annual golf tournament mostly from purebred and commercial cattlemen many of whom are affiliated with the Hereford breed.
