"The stop work order on the chipping unit has been lifted," Kevin Finch told the Truro Daily News. "The assessment has been completed."

On Aug. 4, a man, who had worked at the mill for 3.5 years, was changing the blade on the chipping unit when he became caught up in the machine's power transmission shaft. During the incident, the man lost part of his foot and his leg was broken in two places.

Labour department officials continue to investigate.
