Best of PEI Christmas trees

The best of Prince Edward Island Christmas trees were judged on Aug. 19 at Old Home Week in Charlottetown. When the judging was completed, Graham Watts was awarded the grand champion with his entry in the class for trees measuring 6'1" to 9'0". David and Shirley Smith took the reserve grand champion with their second place entry in the same class.

Following are the results.

Christmas Tree, 3'7" to 6'0": 1. David and Shirley Smith; 2. Graham Watts; 3. Tattrie Evergreens. 

Christmas Tree, 6'1" to 9'0": 1. Graham Watts; 2. David and Shirley Smith; 3. Tattrie Evergreens.
