Cardboard company interested in mill

At press time Newfoundland & Labrador Natural Resources Minister Kathy Dunderdale was expecting a business plan from Lott Paper, the company interested in taking over the Grand Falls-Windsor AbitibiBowater mill.

At press time Newfoundland & Labrador Natural Resources Minister Kathy Dunderdale was expecting a business plan from Lott Paper, the company interested in taking over the Grand Falls-Windsor AbitibiBowater mill.

The minister told CBC News June 24 that she had received a very detailed letter of intent from the German-Austrian company that specializes in cardboard.

Representatives from Lott Paper toured the mill this spring.

The mill closed in February 2009.
