During their Sept. 29 visit to Dempsey Corner Orchards (in Kings County, Nova Scotia), brothers Reden and Caleb Chandler enjoyed a hands-on experience with a life-sized mechanical cow.

The creature is part of the From Farm to Table initiative, sponsored by the Dairy Farmers of Canada.

The display educates families about life on a farm, the dairy process and how their milk gets from the farm to the table.
