Zhuhui Ye, 23, was a student at the Dalhousie Agricultural Campus. He was studying for his masters in aquaculture, according to an article on the (Nova Scotia) university's website regarding this summer's open house.

His body was found Sept. 9 after he had been swimming with friends at the park the night before. During his swim, Ye ran into difficulty at around 6:45 p.m. Divers found his body at around 10 a.m. the next day.

The ceremony is scheduled for 10 a.m. in the Alumni Theatre at Cumming Hall.

Students established a memorial fund to help aid Ye's family - donations may be made online at www.facebook.com/yezhuhui, or directly at CIBC to Zhuhui Ye's family in trust.

The campus waited to finalize plans for the ceremony until Ye's family arrived.
