Where did the tree go?

Well where did it go?

Where did the apple tree planted last week by the National Farmers Union go?

Obviously it was expected that it would be moved, but what did the government do with this grown in New Brunswick apple tree?

Was it re-planted up at the experimental farm in Fredericton, or did they just take it to the dump?

If the latter is the answer, what does this say about this government’s attitude towards farmers, agriculture and rural residents as a whole?

It is obvious that with the move to reduce services to rural residents, to close hospitals and schools, that the government would like to see us all live in one of the three cities of New Brunswick.

And if we do not live there, with regionalism, there is a good chance we shall be forced to pay property taxes to these cities, supposedly for services that we rural residents are accessing.

Therefore the question should be asked, has the government of New Brunswick abandoned rural resident?
